Business Intelligence Analyst Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing business intelligence solutions that drive data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop end-to-end business intelligence solutions using industry-leading tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources into centralized data warehouses.
  • Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements and deliver technical specifications and deliverables.
  • Write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries to efficiently retrieve and manipulate large datasets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years' experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or similar analytics-focused role.
  • Strong proficiency in BI visualization tools, including DAX, custom visuals, and advanced dashboard design.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including query optimization, stored procedures, and working with large, complex datasets across multiple database platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based BI and data solutions, such as Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, and their integration capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret complex datasets and deliver clear, meaningful insights.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
