Job Overview

This position plays a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of marketing campaigns for our organization, focusing on technical soundness and process improvement.

As a Quant Analytics Associate, you will be responsible for reviewing SAS code and modifications to verify that business requirements are met and ensuring technical accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and verify SAS code and modifications to ensure they meet business requirements and maintain technical accuracy.
  • Adhere to established campaign review processes and checkpoints, including code review and auditing of code output.
  • Promote ongoing process improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Manage and ensure proper use of the GIT code management tool for campaign version control.
  • Assist with development, testing, and maintenance of automated campaign code.
  • Cultivate a collaborative culture across work sites.
  • Interact daily with project stakeholders on multiple projects, clarifying requirements and timelines.
  • Independently manage process improvement and risk/control special projects, as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in developing/reviewing Base SAS codes for data manipulation and report creation using procedures like Proc Freq, Proc Format, Proc Sort, Proc SQL, and Proc Summary.
  • Experience in SQL database querying (Teradata/Snowflake).
  • Strong analytical skills and technical documentation abilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, process improvement, or risk control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience with Python programming is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with software version control tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and regulations in the US banking/finance domain.
  • Background in operations, direct marketing, and data analysis in a banking or financial institution environment is a strong asset.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is desired.
