Cloud Integration Specialist

The role of the Cloud Integration Specialist is to lead the development, implementation and maintenance of cloud-based integration solutions.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting in defining and reviewing technical requirements and use cases for cloud-based applications.
2. Using business process requirements to drive out application requirements and metrics.
3. Performing the detailed design of cloud-based applications and technical architecture components to meet business process design and application requirements.
4. Validating designs with stakeholders and participating in quality management reviews to ensure that cloud-based application designs and related work products satisfy requirements.
5. Supervising other designers or developers in completing designs as needed.
6. Participating in transitioning designs to developers, ensuring a clear and complete understanding of designs.
7. Configuring, building, and testing cloud-based application or technical architecture components.
8. Collaborating with other developers, designers, and architects to ensure that configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals.
9. FOLLOWING GOOD SECURITY CODING PRACTICES TO ENSURE CLOUD-BASED APPLICATIONS ARE FREE OF MOST COMMON CODING VULNERABILITIES.
10. Participating in code reviews.
11. Participating in transitions of cloud-based application or technical architecture components to testers.
12. Fixing any defects and performance problems discovered during testing.
13. Informing technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect other areas of project.
14. Providing cloud-based application/technical support as needed. This may include installation of application releases into production.
15. Reviewing and understanding work plan.
16. Creating technical and functional/end-user operational documentation for cloud-based software or system.
17. Planning and executing all required process steps as defined in methodologies.
18. Anticipating, identifying, tracking, and resolving issues and risks affecting cloud-based software or system.
19. Meeting milestones and related effort/time commitments for assigned deliverables and providing work status, including estimated-time-to-complete (ETC) and actuals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Software/Computer/Information Sciences, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
• 4 years or more experience in software development role, particularly with ASP.NET MVC/Core application and API development.
• Proficiency in C#, SQL, front end development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript & jQuery.
• Skill in unit test, automation, or test-driven development.
• Skill in building applications and APIs using Azure services: App Service, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Azure Logic Apps, Event Grid, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Storage.

Nice-to-have skills/experience:

• Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines
• Azure Cosmos DB
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure AI Services
• Microsoft Role-Based Certifications

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based integration solutions. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and develop cloud-based applications that meet business needs.
