Order Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Order Operations Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the entire order to cash cycle, from receipt of orders through customer delivery and payment collection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team responsible for managing the order to cash cycle execution and management from order receipt through customer delivery, invoicing, and payment collection.
  • Provide support for pre-order activities, including systemic setup and SOP creation, ensuring customer orders are ready to process.
  • Develop and implement sustainable processes and systems focusing on efficiency and scalability as we onboard new customers and expand our operations team.
  • Create and manage SOPs for order operations specific to different sales channels and customers.
  • Maintain accurate data integrity in all order operations systems associated with order entry, fulfillment, management, and invoicing.
  • Lead month's end reconciliation and provide reporting showing accurate order entries in all systems.
  • Design workflows using automation tools to reduce manual work.
Requirements
  • Ability to work full-time hours in the US timezone.
  • Expertise in automations, specifically Zapier or similar tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in customer-facing roles.
  • Elite organizational skills with attention to details.
  • Process-oriented with ability to identify issues, create scalable processes, and implement them with team members.
  • Order processing experience, including EDI, B2B, and manual orders, and strong ERP system expertise.
  • Experience managing direct reports.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in US food & beverage order operations with distributors like UNFI and retailers like Target.
  • Able to thrive in fully remote work environments under minimal supervision.
  • Strong customer focus and desire to provide world-class service while prioritizing the company's best interest.
  • Will to solve problems and take initiative even outside of comfort zones.
