Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze electrical and low-voltage drawings and blueprints to understand project scope.
  • Calculate exact quantities of materials required for the project.
  • Research material costs and labor rates to develop comprehensive cost breakdowns.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and ensure bid proposals meet client requirements.
  • Communicate with suppliers to gather pricing and availability information.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in electrical and low-voltage estimating.
  • Proficiency in estimating software tools, such as PlanSwift and Electrical Bid Manager (EBM).
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
