Job Title: Vehicle Inspection Specialist

Overview:

The Vehicle Inspection Specialist is responsible for inspecting and preparing vehicles before they are delivered to customers, ensuring they meet manufacturer standards and are free of defects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver vehicles to customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections to ensure that all vehicles meet the manufacturer's standards before delivery to customers
  • Test drive vehicles to ensure all systems, including safety features, are fully functional and in optimal condition
  • Manage units from preparation to release, including inspecting vehicles, keeping them tidy in the stockyard, and ensuring proper vehicle storage and handling
  • Retrieve vehicles from dealers as needed to meet inventory requirements and ensure availability of vehicles for delivery
  • Identify defects or issues with the vehicle's systems and components, including engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical systems, and perform necessary repairs or adjustments to meet required specifications and quality standards
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, adjustments, and any changes to the vehicle's service history for future reference and customer communication
  • Ensure that all work adheres to safety regulations, and that vehicles are compliant with relevant industry standards
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure the proper scheduling and completion of inspections and repairs in a timely manner
  • Ensure that the work area is clean and organized

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in vehicle inspection, maintenance, or a related technical field
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems, including electrical, mechanical, and safety components
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects
  • Basic knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
