Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain end-to-end data solutions on the Azure Data Platform.
  • Collaborate with service providers to ensure high-quality deliverables during solution implementation.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Machine Learning.
  • Implement scalable data pipelines and integration solutions, incorporating data from SAP and Salesforce.
  • Ensure data accuracy, performance, and reliability across all ETL lifecycle stages.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or further studies in Data Science/Analytics is beneficial.
  • 4-8 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role with a focus on the Azure Data Platform.
  • Strong proficiency in:
  • Azure Data Lake
  • Azure Databricks
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Azure Machine Learning
  • Azure Cognitive Services
  • Azure Cosmos DB or other NoSQL databases
  • Solid understanding of data warehouse, data lake, and lakehouse architectures.
  • Hands-on experience integrating data from enterprise platforms such as SAP and Salesforce.
  • Relevant Azure certification: DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer Associate) or AZ-305 (Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions).
  • Strong skills in SQL, Python, and cloud-based ETL development.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Familiarity with DAMA data management principles is advantageous.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote team.
