About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Manager to join our team at PJ Lhuillier Group of Companies.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Represent the company in litigation and other legal proceedings, ensuring effective representation and resolution of disputes.
  2. Conduct thorough research to inform case strategy and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  3. Collaborate with external counsel and other stakeholders to achieve favorable outcomes.
  4. Lead the gathering of evidence, conducting interviews, investigations, and analysis to support case arguments.
  5. Advise management on legal matters, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Evidence Gathering and Documentation:
  1. Assist the Division Head in gathering evidence, including witness interviews and document collection.
  2. Analyze legal data to inform decision-making and identify potential risks.
  3. Prepare and review legal documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  4. Coordinate with external counsel and other agencies to facilitate the conduct of litigation proceedings.
Leadership and Teamwork:
  1. Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members, promoting their growth and development.
  2. Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to excellence.
  3. Facilitate open communication and collaboration among team members, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Laws/Juris Doctor degree; licensed attorney
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in litigation, with expertise in Civil and Criminal laws
