Australian Outsource Desk Inc. is seeking a skilled Bookkeeper with Australian experience to manage our financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.

The role involves:

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and general ledgers
  • Processing accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconciling bank and credit card statements
  • Preparing and lodging Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Goods and Services Tax (GST) reports
  • Managing payroll processing and superannuation contributions
  • Ensuring compliance with Australian accounting and taxation laws

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably for Australian clients
  • Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, and other accounting software
  • Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB)
  • Knowledge of Australian taxation laws, BAS, GST, and payroll regulations
