About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced onsite bookkeeper to join our dynamic team at Australian Outsource Desk Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality bookkeeping services to our Australian clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.
  • Process payroll, superannuation, and employee entitlements in accordance with Australian regulations.
  • Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other required tax filings.
  • Analyze financial reports to support business decisions and ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and financial regulations.
  • Manage month-end and year-end financial closing procedures, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Provide professional support and handle bookkeeping-related inquiries from clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (desired).
  • At least 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in an Australian business environment.
  • Proficiency in Xero and QuickBooks, with certification being a significant advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian GST, BAS, payroll, and superannuation regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
