We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Coolaire Consolidated Inc. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for the preparation and submission of sales and billing invoices, as well as following up on collections from clients.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of sales and billing invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Follow up on collections from clients to ensure timely payment
  • Monitoring of accounts receivable aging to identify any potential issues or delays
  • Responding to client inquiries and addressing transaction-related issues in a prompt and professional manner
  • Encoding of sales and collections data into the accounting system
  • Recommendation of terms requests for sales submissions to supervisors and management for approval
  • Assistance in processing customer accreditation and facilitating background checks for new customers and term requests
  • Processing of small claims and coordination with the legal team
  • Preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual reports on accounts receivable aging, collections, sales versus collection status, collections projection target, and summary of creditable work/time

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also be proficient in using accounting software and have experience with financial reporting and analysis.
