Responsibilities:
- Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Invoice Management: Process invoices, verify payments, and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
- Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts regularly.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for management and regulatory compliance.
- Tax Compliance: Support tax filings and assist with year-end closing processes.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
- Audit Preparation: Help prepare financial documentation for internal and external audits.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial processes and transactions comply with company policies and relevant laws.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel), financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in financial data entry and reporting.
- Communication: Strong communication skills for collaborating with other departments and providing financial reports.
- Organization: Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Certifications: CPA or other accounting certifications are a plus, but not required.
