Financial Coordinators are key members of the team, responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Coordinator to join our organization. The successful candidate will have a degree in accounting, finance, or related field and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as proficiency in using MS Office applications. They will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process for purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
  • Verify that transactions are recorded correctly and bring the books to the trial balance stage.
  • Perform partial checks of the posting process.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to create and analyze financial reports.
  • Ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoices and tax payments.
Requirements:
  • Manage client book based on Australia Record daily financial transactions.
  • Perform end-to-end processing of accounts receivable/accounts payable.
  • Perform bank and other financial reconciliations.
  • Payroll process.
  • Compliance lodgment.
  • Ensure compliance with tax reporting and assist with tax accountants queries.
  • Monthly Reporting including reconciliations.
  • Prepare information for cash flow projections.
  • Communicate with managers/clients on accounting concerns, requirements, and reports.
  • Check and report errors in financial reports and process.
  • Special projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
  • CPAs preferred.
  • 5+ years related work experience.
  • Outstanding financial and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams).
  • Excellent people skills; this position requires communication with the client directly.
  • Excellent organizational skills; high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
