Senior Software Tester

As a skilled software tester, you will empower quality and innovation at Emapta Global. You will collaborate with developers to ensure software applications meet global standards, championing a culture of excellence in testing and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed test plans, strategies, and test cases based on project requirements and technical specifications.
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test scripts, leveraging automation tools to increase test efficiency and coverage.
  • Identify, document, and prioritize software defects using standard bug tracking tools, working collaboratively with the development team to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes.
  • Participate in requirement and design review meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of project objectives and identify potential quality risks early in the development cycle.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely impact existing product features, and perform performance, load, and stress testing as needed.
  • Promote a culture of quality throughout the development cycle, providing input on process improvements and advocating for best practices in testing and quality assurance.

About the Role:

  • A mid-senior level position requiring 4-5 years of relevant experience.
  • 90% manual testing and 10% automation.
  • Extensive knowledge of software testing processes, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall), and industry best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools, issue tracking and test management tools, and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with API testing, performance testing, and security testing techniques and tools.
  • Experience working in Azure with testing and monitoring of cloud-based applications.
