We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Associate Specialist in Data Analytics. This role will involve leading the development and optimization of finance management data products, shaping the data experience for internal and external users, and delivering finance data products built on Snowflake and visualized through Power BI.

The ideal candidate will have a unique blend of technical expertise and user-centered design thinking, with experience in designing scalable, performant data models in Snowflake and leading the design and continuous improvement of Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability, storytelling, and business value.

The successful candidate will also have strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, and data modeling, as well as proficiency in Python for data pipeline development and minor code enhancements. Additionally, they will have experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, familiarity with Agile methodologies and product lifecycle management, and strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with data engineers and data analysts to design scalable, performant data models in Snowflake.
  • Lead the design and continuous improvement of Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability, storytelling, and business value.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform product decisions and improve the user journey.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and product features.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and security standards are upheld across all solutions.
  • Monitor product performance and usage analytics to drive enhancements.

Required Qualifications
  • At least 6 years of experience in data visualization and user experience and analytics.
  • Advanced degree and/or certifications in UI/UX design, including human-centric design principles, accessibility & inclusivity, data model visualizations.
  • Experienced UI/UX designer focused on human-centered design principles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in Python for data pipeline development and minor code enhancements preferred.
