With your expertise in MS Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), .NET, and Power Automate, you will lead the implementation of automation solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive business outcomes.

Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for digital transformation and develop strategic plans to achieve them.

As a digital transformation expert, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing automation tools and scripts, including company business systems, automation tools, database, applications, etc.

Furthermore, you will work heavily with MS Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) and handle business-critical automation tasks and their improvements.

You will enable faster and smarter business processes and employee productivity by researching and evaluating emerging technologies, hardware, and software.

And, you will create technical documentation for reference and governance and establish and revise database by conferring with analysts and programmers to code and retrieve data.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support and facilitate global and area level projects in One Team Customer Experience (OTCX) and Managed by Maersk (MbM) Team.
  2. Support Site Lead and Process Head on automation initiatives.
  3. Manage OTCX and MbM productivity related tasks and ensure working efficiency is well maintained.
  4. Collaborate with business teams and subject matter experts to identify opportunities, end-user requirements, and specifications; define automation solutions along with stakeholders.
  5. Maintain and develop automation tools and scripts, including company business systems, automation tools, database, applications, etc.
  6. Work heavily with MS Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
  7. Handle business-critical automation tasks and their improvements.
  8. Enable faster and smarter business processes and employee productivity.
  9. Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software.
  10. Create technical documentation for reference and governance.
  11. Establish and revise database by conferring with analysts and programmers to code and retrieve data.
  12. Train employees in using automation tools and provide technical support when needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Heavy experience in one of developing languages like but not limited to: MS Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), .NET, and Power Automate.
  2. Able to read codes in VBA and replicate automation.
  3. Experience in Python, Power BI, JavaScript, C language is a nice to have.
  4. Strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Demonstrates strong communication capabilities in an international environment.
  6. Equipped with a positive and constructive attitude with creative thinking for team improvement and business driving.
  7. Familiarity with Agile development technologies.
  8. Work independently with excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  9. Ability to work as part of a team or individually on a project; excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  10. A proactive attitude to foresee irregularities and propose alternative solutions.

Preferred Educational Background / Work Experience:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in any course.
  2. Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in a technology position and service industry.
  3. Preferably with work experience in the logistics and shipping industry.
  4. Willing to work in morning to mid-shift; open and flexible to changes in schedule due to business needs.

Language Skills:

  1. Excellent in English (written and verbal).

Computer Literacy:

  1. Microsoft Office.
  2. Microsoft Excel – advanced skills.
