Financial Product Strategist

A dynamic and analytical team member is sought to drive product development, optimization, and execution. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

The Financial Product Strategist will play a critical role in driving performance, supporting strategic decision-making, and managing cross-functional projects. This role requires strong analytical and project management skills, financial modeling expertise, and the ability to distill complex data points into actionable insights.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to coordinate project planning and roadmaps that drive strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlight trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of financial products, pricing, performance, and customer adoption.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve financial models and capacity plans to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
  • Collaborate with finance, product, operations, and technology teams to define product requirements and enhancements.
  • Develop financial models to assess product performance, profitability, and ROI.
  • Lead and manage product-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and budgets are met.
  • Create and maintain project plans, track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Support product launches by coordinating with teams across the value chain.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in financial product analysis, business analysis, or management consulting, with at least 2 years in the Financial Services Industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, economics, or related field; MBA or CFA/CPA a plus.
  • Strong project management experience; PMP or Agile/Scrum certification a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities, financial modeling skills, and the ability to distill complex data points into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with ability to present complex data in clear terms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.
