Marketing Director – SaaS Growth Strategy

The ideal candidate will lead and scale the company’s marketing function, driving brand visibility, demand generation, and customer engagement to accelerate SaaS growth across Australia and global markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned to growth, retention, and revenue objectives.
  • Lead a small, agile team, fostering creativity, accountability, and high performance.
  • Own messaging and thought leadership to differentiate the company in the SaaS market.
  • Spearhead inbound and outbound acquisition via SEO, SEM, paid campaigns, social, and email marketing.
  • Partner with business development to strengthen lead generation, nurturing, and conversion.
  • Develop case studies, communities, and advocacy programs to showcase client success.
  • Define KPIs, track ROI, and refine strategies through a data-first approach.
  • Drive ad hoc marketing initiatives to support evolving business priorities.

Requirements:


Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, including 3+ years in a SaaS leadership role.
  • Proven track record in scaling demand generation and digital growth.
  • Strong leadership with experience managing small, high-impact teams.
  • Strategic yet hands-on—comfortable executing campaigns while driving vision.
  • Exceptional communicator and storyteller, simplifying complex SaaS products into compelling narratives.
  • Data-driven mindset with expertise in HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and related tools.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with agility and adaptability.

Preferred

  • Background in analytics, BI, or data-focused SaaS.
  • Knowledge of the Australian SaaS market and experience scaling globally.
  • Experience in building customer advocacy or thought leadership programs.
