Role Overview:

A Quality Assurance Specialist will be involved in creating and implementing a defined strategy for quality assurance and testing. They will develop customer-specific test cases based on build documentation and customer workflows. The specialist will conduct thorough tests of new client builds, as well as project tickets and support tickets.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the project implementation lifecycle.
  • Evaluate builds, project tickets, and support tickets to verify that work done aligns with ticket descriptions and environments are functioning as expected.
  • Perform a variety of different types of tests, including functional, regression, negative, interface, and workflow-specific testing.
  • Support support teams in reproducing customer issues, ensuring a consistent customer experience.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education in Information Technology and/or SCRAP related certifications.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance.
  • Exposure to SQL basics and queries.
  • Knowledge of automation in Java or JavaScript is highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency using JIRA.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working directly with software developers.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in diverse settings.
  • Demonstrated high level of integrity and strong work ethic.
  • Proven time management and prioritization skills.
About the Role:
  • The position requires occasional work outside regular business hours, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
  • Primary duties involve operating a desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Work environment is fast-paced with frequent interruptions.
