Technical Operations Engineer

This is a challenging role that involves managing and optimizing complex Web3 infrastructures to ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of production systems. As a Technical Operations Engineer, you will leverage your deep technical expertise in Web3/blockchain technologies to manage, optimize, and enhance platform infrastructure.

The Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned engineer with a strong background in Linux/Unix system administration and advanced troubleshooting capabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex Web3 infrastructures, including RPC services, validator setups, and node operations. You should be skilled in interpreting blockchain logs, JSON-RPC responses, and debugging intricate Web3 protocol issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Deployment: Deploy, optimize, and operational manage new blockchain networks.
  • Incident Resolution: Address high-impact Web3 incidents through rigorous troubleshooting and collaboration with blockchain foundations and ecosystem partners.
  • Monitoring and Alerting: Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting solutions using advanced dashboards (e.g., Grafana, DataDog).
  • Service Level Objectives: Define, implement, and enforce service-level objectives (SLOs) and agreements (SLAs).
  • Automation Solutions: Implement and maintain automation solutions (Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes) to streamline deployments and optimize cloud infrastructure cost and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years in Technical Operations, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
  • Deep experience managing complex Web3 infrastructures and debugging intricate Web3 protocol issues.
  • Strong hands-on experience with configuration management and infrastructure automation tools (Helm, Terraform, Ansible, Consul).
  • Competency in scripting/programming languages (Python, Go, JavaScript).
  • Advanced proficiency in monitoring and analytics platforms (Grafana, DataDog).
  • Ability to identify performance patterns, forecast potential issues, and implement preventive solutions.
