Job Description

The IT Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive technology strategies that drive business growth and efficiency.
  • Leading a team of professionals in managing IT operations, infrastructure, and security, while fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Overseeing all aspects of technology operations, including policy development, system implementation, and vendor management.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that support business goals.
  • Empowering direct reports to manage systems and tasks independently, while providing training, clear instructions, and consistent project oversight.

Additionally, the IT Director:

  • Conducts weekly 1:1s, team huddles, and staffing reviews to ensure open communication and transparency.
  • Sets hiring goals and maintains a skills matrix to ensure optimal talent alignment.
  • Leads with empathy and accountability, supporting staff while driving performance and results.
  • Anticipates conflicts, prioritizes initiatives, and allocates resources effectively to achieve business objectives.
  • Communicates clearly, delegating down, reporting up, and keeping leadership aligned.
  • Maintains organized Asana boards, with a maximum of 50 active tasks.
  • Reviews and QA deliverables to ensure accuracy and readiness before implementation.
