Key Job Details

The role of a 3D Image Conversion Specialist is crucial in the process of transforming high-resolution 2D portrait images into 3D bas-relief point cloud models for subsurface crystal engraving.

This specialist will be responsible for converting 2D images into 3D point cloud models with raised facial features and ensuring compatibility of point cloud files with engraving machine formats such as OBJ.

Responsibilities also include enhancing image clarity and contrast, scaling and aligning models to match crystal dimensions, and performing quality checks and delivering engraving-ready files for production.

Requirements for this role include proficiency in 3D modeling software, experience with point cloud generation and manipulation, familiarity with subsurface laser engraving or similar precision manufacturing processes, strong attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
