Image Model Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to transform high-resolution 2D portrait images into 3D models for subsurface crystal engraving. This role is ideal for someone with expertise in image processing, 3D modeling, and precision formatting.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to meet formatting specifications. Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Blender or MeshLab is required.
Key responsibilities include converting 2D images into 3D point cloud models, enhancing image clarity and contrast, ensuring compatibility of point cloud files with engraving machine formats, scaling and aligning models to match crystal dimensions, and performing quality checks.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently and manage multiple image conversions efficiently. Experience with point cloud generation and manipulation, familiarity with subsurface laser engraving, and knowledge of bas-relief modeling techniques are preferred skills.
This is an entry-level position that requires a full-time commitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles, art, and information technology. We are looking for someone who can unlock community knowledge and contribute to our mission.
