Senior Cloud Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled cloud expert to support our clients' Microsoft Azure platforms. As a key member of our managed services team, you will be responsible for ongoing support, escalations, and proactive maintenance for our clients' cloud infrastructure.

  • Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support client Microsoft Azure infrastructure by identifying IT issues, troubleshooting, and following up on problems
  • Communicate ticket status information to clients
  • Install, configure, and administer client systems in Azure
  • Configure and tune cloud-based tools, manage cost, security, and compliance
  • Execute monthly maintenance of the Azure infrastructure
  • Create and maintain updated documentation for cloud systems
  • Promote best practices and participate in weekly discussions with clients
  • Provide consultation and monthly reports to clients

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud servers, services, and software or equivalent sys admin experience
  • Experience in a 24x7 managed services environment, hosted service company, or Network Operations Center environment
  • Experience with ITIL processes and associated ITSM systems and service portals
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
  • Experience with Windows and Linux system administration
  • Experience developing CloudFormation, Azure Resource Manager, and Terraform templates
  • Experience with Azure native services
  • Understanding of sys admin concepts
  • Experience with Azure-based deployments and migrations or other cloud platforms
  • Operational knowledge of ARM, PowerShell, and Bicep
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for problem solving and learning new technologies
  • Client relationship skills and experience managing vendors
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
