Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and prepare adjusting journal entries as necessary.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and stay up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or large corporation.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
