Quality Assurance Specialist


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Language & Localisation department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality translation of our platforms globally.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage localization projects including timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Create and manage global multilingual content strategies to facilitate delivery of high-quality translations for our platforms.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to stakeholders to help them understand translation workflows and utilize existing translation tools and processes.
  • Collaborate with Product, Development Teams, and Quality Assurance to produce high-quality products and guarantee accessibility in all certified languages.
  • Oversee Translation/Language requests in the GAPS queue and work with cross-functional teams to resolve these tickets.
  • Maintain language-related pages to ensure information is updated.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure highest standards of translation.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for improving translation processes.
  • Work with external vendors and freelancers and maintain good relationships with these partners.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Able to work in varying schedules depending on business needs.
  • Fluency in one language other than English is an advantage.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferably with experience working in different countries/cultures.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Quick understanding of business processes and requirements.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various departments.
