Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Store Cashier to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, and provide exceptional service to customers.

  • Perform basic math functions to collect payments and make change.
  • Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals.
  • Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
  • Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer.
  • Handle exchanges and refunds in a quick, efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer.
  • Keep the checkout area clean and orderly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A bachelor's degree (in Business or any 4-year course)
  • Sufficient background in cashiering, preferably with POS experience
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
