Job Title: German Language Quality Specialist

This position is available for detail-oriented and bilingual German speakers with a strong command of written English. We are seeking an experienced linguist to monitor the quality of documents, ensuring they meet client-specific and internal standards.

The ideal candidate will have native or near-native fluency in German, with a strong understanding of linguistic accuracy and consistency. They will be responsible for reviewing document content, formatting, and layout to ensure alignment with style guides and tone requirements.

This role involves collaborating with team members to communicate findings and escalate quality concerns as needed. Additionally, the selected candidate will be expected to suggest process improvements and participate in root-cause analysis when errors are detected.

The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, including formatting, comments, and revision tools, is also required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Native or near-native fluency in German, with a strong command of written English (minimum B2 CEFR level)
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or document review, preferably in the medical or life sciences fields
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to analyze complex documents for consistency and quality
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, including formatting, comments, and revision tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines independently
