Senior Support Engineer for MES Systems

Global One, Eastwood, QC

Flexible work setup & shift: Night shift

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently and collaboratively work on highly technical tasks to resolve tickets.
  • Work with the Support Portal: Review incidents, problems, and change requests.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance skills with leading-edge technology in blue-chip multinational F&B companies.
Requirements
  • Graduate degree in computer science or mechanical/electrical/electronic engineering with a postgraduate degree in Information Technology or relevant experience.
  • 7 years of software projects delivery experience in process-oriented environments.
  • Industry knowledge in food and beverage processing is advantageous.
  • Active participation in testing and validation of MES systems and related configuration as required.
  • History of supporting bespoke software applications.
  • Knowledge of SQL Databases, including T-SQL codes, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, Triggers, Microsoft SQL Management Studio, SQL Server Profiler, ETL, SSIS.
  • Ability to debug code in C#, JavaScript, HTML, XAML and knowledge of WPF, HTML5, .Net Framework, SSRS Reporting, Visual Studio.
  • Experience with Windows / Network administration, Internet Information Services [IIS], Power Bi, Data Warehouse is an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, ability to multi-task, comprehend technical information, proficiency in MS Office applications.
