Financial Analyst Role

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports. This role involves analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts to ensure the company's financial records are up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining accurate accounts: Keeping track of accounts receivable and payable, and issuing invoices as necessary.
  • Reconciling accounts: Comparing bank statements with general ledgers to confirm they match and resolving any discrepancies that arise.
  • Preparing financial reports: Gathering and analyzing data to prepare comprehensive reports for management review.
  • Reviewing and processing expense reports: Analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assisting with audits: Providing support during internal and external audits and helping to develop internal controls.
  • Posting journal entries: Ensuring all business transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial data: Collecting, analyzing, and reporting financial data to inform management decision-making.
