Job Title: Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled financial analyst to take ownership of core accounting functions, optimize financial processes, and support automation initiatives.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with financial systems, strong knowledge of US GAAP, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. This role will focus on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead efforts to streamline financial workflows and automate processes within financial systems.
  • General Ledger Management: Record and maintain journal entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
  • Month-End Close: Prepare reconciliations and schedules, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Oversee AP processes, ensuring timely and accurate vendor payments.
  • Cash & Credit Card Transactions: Accurately record and reconcile all cash and credit card transactions.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement best practices to improve financial operations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders to support financial decision-making.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Extensive experience with financial systems and a proven track record of closing books for a US-based entity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and drive process improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with SQL for financial data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Snowflake, Ramp, and Rippling.
  • Experience leveraging AI for accounting automation.
  • Audit experience (Big 4 background is a plus).
