Job Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to work with us on a full-time basis. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining our company's financial records, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will manage and maintain our QuickBooks Online account, ensuring up-to-date and accurate financial records.
Bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable tasks will be performed by the successful applicant.
Financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, will be prepared and reviewed by the Bookkeeper.
The selected candidate is expected to identify and implement processes to improve financial efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Management, Accounting, or an equivalent field.
- At least 8 consecutive months of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Online is required.
- A strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles is essential.
- The ideal candidate should be able to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records efficiently.
Work Environment:
The selected candidate will work remotely from their own home, with minimal supervision required. They must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
