Financial Management Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to manage the accounting functions of several portfolio companies. This includes month-end close, financial reporting, and financial planning and analysis.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is not afraid to dive deep into details. They should enjoy working independently and as part of a team, with strong analytical and organizational skills.

This individual will be responsible for managing the entire month-end close process for several companies, recording bank transactions, and reconciling bank accounts. They will also prepare general ledger entries, maintain records and files, and assist with monthly general ledger reconciliations.

In addition, they will contribute to the development of new accounting systems, programs, controls, and procedures. They will also assist with research on technical accounting issues and document findings in accounting memorandums.

This role involves assisting with monthly intercompany consolidation of financial information between parent and subsidiaries. They will also assist with annual audit preparations and interact effectively with auditors. Other responsibilities include managing corporate credit card programs and being willing to step in to help with any accounting function if necessary.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, 6+ years of experience in accounting, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in related field and/or CPA, experience working with US companies, and QuickBooks Online and Xero experience.
