Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Growth: Develop and lead the execution of comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, focusing on infrastructure and long-term growth sectors.
- Sales Excellence: Direct regional sales and client engagement initiatives to drive pipeline development and revenue generation.
- Team Management: Provide mentorship, performance management, and strategic direction to business development teams.
- Lead Generation: Leverage data mining, networking, and outbound prospecting to uncover and qualify new leads.
- Client Engagement: Confidently consult with prospects, communicate value propositions, and build trust with decision-makers.
- Pipeline Management: Develop and manage a robust pipeline from initial contact through to close, ensuring seamless handoff to sales teams when appropriate.
- Proposal & Contracting: Oversee the preparation of proposals and lead contract negotiations to secure new business.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy.
The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of experience in business development, sales leadership, or strategic partnerships, preferably in B2B or infrastructure sectors. They should demonstrate success in revenue generation, deal structuring, and closing complex partnerships.
