Project Lead

The primary objective of the Project Lead is to drive product development and business growth from inception to launch. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Planning: Developing projects that focus on marketplace growth, integration, and eCommerce technology.
  • Process Leadership: Overseeing business projects across the organization.
  • Platform Enhancement: Streamlining and automating processes, as well as continuously improving platform features.
Requirements and Development Lifecycle
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather comprehensive product requirements and feedback.
  • Product Definition: Capturing high-level product requirements and translating them into actionable tasks for the development team.
  • Business Solutions: Working closely with Business Departments to aid in the design and development of technology-based process improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Business Workflow Optimization: Enhancing project outcomes through a deep understanding of business and technology workflows.
  • Project Facilitation: Ensuring seamless execution and effective project completion across all stakeholders.
  • Conflict Resolution: Resolving conflicts, competing priorities, and roadblocks to enable team members to achieve common goals efficiently.
  • Technical Understanding: Cultivating an overall technical understanding of the platform and its capabilities to bridge the gap between technical and business needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with a minimum of 5 years of related experience ideally with eCommerce knowledge.
  • eCommerce Platform Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of various eCommerce platforms, ERP systems, Database systems, and reporting platforms.
  • Product Documentation: Proven ability to document product requirements with sufficient knowledge, detail, and clarity.
  • Requirements Analysis: Strong experience performing thorough requirements analysis through independent research and testing methodologies.
  • Project Management Tools: Expertise in utilizing modern Project Management tools such as Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
  • Methodology Acumen: Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, Kanban, GAP Analysis, SWOT Analysis, and other relevant project methodologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, articulating complex technical and business concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving complex challenges.
  • Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment.
  • Strategic Mindset: A strong inclination to challenge the status quo and contribute innovative ideas driving business strategy and growth.
  • Client-Facing Experience: Direct client-facing communication experience is desired but not mandatory.
