Job Title: Technical Lead for Java Software Development

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Lead to oversee the development of our Java software projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will lead a team of developers, guiding them to create high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, refining project scope, and ensuring timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and Teams to refine project requirements and break down work into manageable tasks
  • Investigate and resolve reported bugs and issues
  • Develop automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability
  • Perform code reviews to maintain coding standards and best practices
  • Research and stay up-to-date with new technologies and products/platforms to support business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Evaluate and escalate blocking issues as necessary
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in related fields with a strong background in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and software design patterns
  • Experience with relational and distributed database systems, unit testing using frameworks like Mocha, Jest, or Jasmine, and working knowledge of version control tools like Git
  • Working knowledge of Continuous Integration and Delivery technology stack and Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodology
