Job Title: Experienced Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned Java software engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Service Request Management (SRM) Team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing new Jira plugins using the Atlassian SDK to enhance SRM functionality.

This role is perfect for someone with a passion for building robust and user-centric systems using high-quality Java code.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement new Jira plugins using the Atlassian SDK to boost SRM capabilities.
  • Develop efficient and scalable Java code for both new features and enhancements, ensuring the SRM system remains stable and user-friendly.
  • Collaborate with product owners to understand and prioritize requirements, driving project success through effective communication and teamwork.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development, utilizing frameworks like Spring or OSGi.
  • Demonstrated expertise in crafting web UIs with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, resulting in engaging and intuitive interfaces.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database design principles, allowing for seamless data management and integration.
  • Proven experience working in Linux environments, including configuration files, logs, and cron jobs, ensuring smooth system operation.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience building or extending Jira plugins using the Atlassian SDK and ScriptRunner, with a focus on innovation and problem-solving.
