Warehouse Custodian Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Custodian to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management and maintenance of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Maintenance and Management: Ensure the overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including the stockroom and store area.
  • Daily Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform regular cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and manage products in the stockroom following the First In First Out (FIFO) or First Expiry First Out (FEFO) standards.
  • Checking and Receiving of Deliveries: Receive and verify delivered products against the Stock Transfer Report (STR), inspect for damage or breakage, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Security and Safety: Implement security guidelines in the stock room and store area, secure keys, and restrict unauthorized persons.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a Warehouse Custodian, you will need:

  • Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Attention to detail to accurately receive and document deliveries.
  • Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and management.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic computer skills to use inventory management software.
