Network Administrator Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our IT team. This role offers comprehensive paid training to enhance your skills while maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing our network systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • LAN/WAN/WLAN administration and troubleshooting
  • Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP configuration
  • VLAN management, STP, VRRP, QoS, EtherChannel setup

Firewall & Security Responsibilities:

  • Palo Alto, Fortinet, Reverse Proxy administration
  • VPN, NAT, App-ID, HA setup
  • Threat prevention and SIEM integration implementation

Monitoring Tools Configuration:

  • SolarWinds (NPM, NTA, NetFlow) – setup, dashboards, alerting
  • SNMP, syslog configuration for telemetry and alerts
  • Custom dashboard creation and proactive monitoring

Automation & DevOps Tasks:

  • Python, Ansible, PowerShell scripting development
  • Configuration management using Git
  • Network provisioning automation with Terraform

DNS & IP Management Duties:

  • Infoblox: DNS/DHCP management, IPAM, grid sync, API integration setup
  • DNSSEC, failover, record updates (A, PTR, MX, CNAME)

SD-WAN & Cloud Integration Projects:

  • Design and implementation of SD-WAN overlays
  • Integration with Azure, AWS, GCP
  • Traffic steering, dynamic path selection, cloud routing

Reporting & Documentation Requirements:

  • Real-time monitoring dashboards
  • SLA/uptime reporting and incident summaries
  • SOP and Visio documentation maintenance

Secondary Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management
  • Storage and backup familiarity: NetApp, Veeam, Commvault
  • Network compliance: ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR

Behavioral Qualities:

  • 2–5 years in infrastructure; 2–5 years as Network Administrator
  • Strong knowledge of Cisco, Palo Alto, Infoblox, and Azure Firewall
  • Highly motivated, team-oriented, and customer service focused
  • Excellent communication in English
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize technical and business constraints
