We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Scheduler to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service to patients over the phone, schedule appointments, verify insurance coverage, and maintain accurate patient records within a digital health record system.

Responsibilities:

• Greet callers in a professional manner and address patient needs promptly

• Schedule primary care appointments including annual exams, chronic care follow-ups, acute visits, and preventive screenings

• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility, including co-pays, deductibles, and network status

• Maintain and update patient records accurately in the digital health record system

• Assist with patient portal setup and troubleshooting

• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely care delivery

• Respond to patient inquiries regarding test results, referrals, and follow-up instructions in alignment with practice policies

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in a medical office setting, preferably in family medicine or internal medicine

• Proficiency in digital health record systems, including scheduling, documentation, and patient communication features

• Strong knowledge of primary care visit types, referral processes, and insurance requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
