Merchandising Director Job Description

This role drives brand elevation and desirability by developing strategic merchandising plans that maximize sales potential. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, deep market insights, and a passion for luxury jewelry retail.

  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies aligned with regional and global objectives.
  • Lead optimized product assortment and inventory levels in collaboration with global and regional functions.
  • Deliver compelling retail communications on new product launches and major merchandising initiatives.

The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to elevate the client experience and maximize sales through strategic merchandising. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project accurate product sales plans by category and channels.
  • Prepare sales plans by category and key collections for retail, e-commerce, and partners.
  • Analyze market and competitors' pricing positioning and share insights with the global team.

Key skills required for this position include:

  • Strong stakeholder interaction skills with diplomacy and flexibility.
  • Over 15 years of experience in merchandising, planning, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in global luxury organizations.
  • Jewelry and watch industry expertise.
  • Knowledge of gemstones, jewelry, and timepieces.
