Lead Business Development Manager

As a seasoned professional in the field of business development, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and revenue for our organization. Your expertise in coaching and leading business development teams to success will be instrumental in achieving our ambitious goals.

Job Description:
  • Provide strategic leadership to the Business Development team, enabling them to exceed quarterly and annual new business pipeline generation targets.
  • Expand the team using our foundational business development plan, ensuring a consistent attainment of goals across the team.
  • Support Business Development Representatives through on-boarding, ramp up, and ongoing coaching and development.
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 review meetings and hold daily team 'huddles' to share best practices.
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including Marketing, Regional Sales Directors, Sales Operations, Recruitment, and HR teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable understanding of the Business Development role.
  • Expertise in coaching and leading business development teams to success.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks to successful completion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
