Project Architect Position Overview

The role of a Project Architect is crucial in designing and managing the overall architecture of a restaurant or site development project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Management
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure designs align with business objectives and goals.
    • Manage the design process from receipt of planning requirements to delivery of design.
    • Oversee third-party design consultants to deliver quality plans within agreed timelines.
  • Design Quality Review
    • Review designs produced by third-party consultants to ensure they meet brand concepts, standards, and regulatory compliance.
    • Work closely with in-house and third-party designers to ensure interdisciplinary collaboration, consistency, and coherence in design outcomes.
    • Ensure designs comply with national and local government unit regulations and industry standards.
  • Application of Specialized Expertise
    • Apply in-depth knowledge in design management and planning for restaurants and site developments.
    • Integrate unique features while adhering to pre-set façade design concepts.
    • Resolve conflicts if any, while prioritizing design and business objectives.
  • Research and Development
    • Pursue continuous research and development on design innovations and cost efficiencies.
    • Stay updated on latest trends in restaurant design through benchmarking, research, competitor analysis, and industry standards.
  • Construction Support
    • Provide timely and accurate responses to design queries during the construction phase.
    • Monitor construction progress on-site to ensure critical design elements are implemented accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Licensed Architect (required to sign architectural plans).
  • Strong verbal communication skills, resourcefulness, and creativity.
  • Knowledge of Architectural Plans, Structural Plans, Sanitary Plans, Electrical Plans, Mechanical Plans, and Building Code.
  • Knowledge of Building Code, Accessibility Law, Fire Code, and Planning Principles for SP development.
