The Benefits Navigator will play a key role in helping patients access care with confidence. This position is responsible for verifying insurance benefits to ensure patients have clear, accurate information about their coverage, and for running prescription monitoring program reports to support safe, prescribing practices.

This individual serves as a friendly and supportive resource, removing barriers so patients can focus on their mental health journey.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Contracting 40 hours a week on tasks assigned to you according to the job description
  • Conducting insurance verifications, ensuring timely completion of verifications
  • Communicating with patients, providing accurate and current information regarding their coverage
  • Running prescription history reports through prescription monitoring platforms
  • Entering client personal health information and other clinical data
  • Performing other tasks assigned by the Lead Care Navigator

Qualifications include:

  • Superb communication skills, excellent verbal and written communication
  • Tech and data-savvy, easily adapting to unfamiliar technologies and thriving in organized data analysis
  • Compassionate nature, empathetic towards patients needing mental health care
  • Insurance expertise, high-level knowledge in health insurance to provide patients with accurate information related to their coverage
