Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and dedicated ESG Research Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about sustainability and wants to make a meaningful contribution to the field of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) research.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on companies to evaluate their sustainability performance. They will gather and analyze data from various sources, including company reports, news articles, and other relevant materials. The analyst will also be expected to communicate their findings effectively through written reports and presentations.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team of professionals who share your passion for sustainability. As an ESG Research Analyst, you will have the chance to develop your skills and expertise in a rapidly growing field.

About the Role:

This role involves systematic data gathering from company disclosures and processing, researching, and analyzing the information according to our methodology. You will take ownership of production targets and deliver high-quality research within set timelines. Additionally, you will specialize in one or more industries, act as an internal and external industry expert, track and monitor key ESG developments and trends, and make contributions to thought leadership and research publications.

You will demonstrate proactiveness, a strong sense of ownership for your work, and act as a process expert regarding production aspects. You will conduct tutoring and training based on experience and expertise in specific sectors and participate in quality assurance procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Gathering and analyzing data from company reports, news articles, and other relevant materials
  • Communicating findings effectively through written reports and presentations
  • Developing and maintaining knowledge of ESG principles and practices
  • Staying up-to-date with market trends and developments in the ESG field
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of research and analysis

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as sustainability, environmental science, or international relations
  • At least 2-4 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail and commitment to quality control
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for sustainability and commitment to making a positive impact
