Real Estate Asset Management Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Analyst to fill this key position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate, finance and/or accounting, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Fund management: Weekly funding reports, monthly liquidity statements, and multifamily market comparison reports require meticulous attention to detail.
  • Loan compliance: Preparing quarterly/year-end loan compliance reports for major lending partners demands thorough understanding of financial regulations.
  • Ground lease reporting: Monitoring ground lessee compliance and performing financial reporting variance analysis is essential for maintaining accurate records.
  • Reporting: Generating Yardi reports requested by Asset Managers and Property Managers, including rent roll, income statement, and budget requires proficiency in data analysis and presentation.
  • Financing: Assisting with loan financing/refinancing, preparing underwriting documents, and reviewing closing statements necessitates strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Budgeting: Reviewing and preparing annual budgets for multifamily, general ledger, and office suites involves analyzing financial data and making informed decisions.
  • 1031 exchange: Identifying replacement properties, calculating deferred tax gain/loss, and property tax basis requires a deep understanding of taxation laws and regulations.
  • Acquisitions/dispositions: Conducting due diligence, reviewing closing statements, and setting up exchanges with First American Exchange Company demands a high level of organizational and time management skills.
  • Summary reporting: Maintaining a summary of acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and 1031 exchanges is crucial for tracking business performance.
  • Property tax basis: Updating and maintaining property tax basis on a quarterly basis involves staying up-to-date with changing regulations and laws.
  • Special reports: Drawing requests from line of credit facilities and updating company presentation materials requires creativity and attention to detail.
