Medical Case Coordinator Job Summary

This role serves as the primary liaison between patients, attorneys, and medical providers following auto-related personal injury accidents.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in medical case management, insurance, or legal support, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Manage treatment funding requests, coordinate ongoing medical care, and ensure compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for med-legal cases, including personal injury (PI), workers' compensation, auto-accident, and other legal-related referrals.
  • Communicate regularly with attorneys, law offices, and case managers regarding patient status, medical records, and reports to ensure timely updates.
  • Coordinate scheduling of medical appointments, follow-ups, and diagnostics as needed for legal cases.
  • Track and manage documentation, including medical reports, billing, liens, and other legal correspondence.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and all relevant legal documentation standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in medical case management, insurance, or legal support.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient data confidentiality.
