Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to spearhead our embedded spend management platform for banks and financial institutions. This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of corporate finance.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and integrating with banking and card scheme protocols, as well as working with third-party APIs and integrating external financial services into backend systems.

In this role, you will design and develop Pluto Connect - our innovative spend management platform for banks and financial institutions, while also playing a pivotal role in architecting critical payment processing, ledgering, and financial reconciliation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and reliable backend systems.
  • Develop robust integrations with various payment rails and banking APIs.
  • Lead feature development from design to deployment.
  • Participate in code reviews, pair-programming sessions and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer (with a focus on payments/fintech).
  • Extensive experience in developing and integrating with banking and card scheme protocols.
  • Mastery in at least one programming language (e.g Kotlin, Java, Go, Scala, Rust).
  • Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases and distributed systems.
