Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Support Officer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data and video services 24/7.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor data and video operations, identifying and troubleshooting any issues with internet or cable connections.
  • Address customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and manage subscriber internet usage, providing recommendations to maintain quality service.
  • Maintain the operation of equipment in the video forward (CATV) and internet or data services.
  • Report logs and troubleshoot any malfunctions in the system.
  • Process customer applications, disconnections, and reconnections.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Perform regular checks on equipment and systems, reporting any failures to your supervisor.
  • Monitor RF transmission, optical transmission, and data upstream/downstream activity.
  • Regularly check input and output voltage levels of the system's operation.
  • Ensure the generator set remains in good condition.
Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Practical experience in network administration and support.
  • Understanding of networking technologies and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
