About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer who will work closely with our team to implement backend features based on clear specifications and requirements.
Responsibilities:- Implement backend services and features using Node.js and JavaScript based on provided specifications.
- Follow established coding conventions, patterns, and architectural guidelines.
- Conduct thorough manual QA and testing of implemented features before submission.
- Read and understand detailed requirements, asking clarifying questions when needed.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
- Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to engineering standards.
- Participate in code reviews with a focus on learning and consistency.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues methodically and thoroughly.
- 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and Node.js.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
- Excellent ability to follow established coding styles and conventions.
- Proven track record of implementing features based on written requirements and specifications.
- Experience with manual QA and testing methodologies.
- Strong reading comprehension and the ability to ask clarifying questions.
- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
- Self-motivated and effective in a remote-work environment.
- Bonus: Experience with AI and LLM tools like Claude Code.
